Lockbit uploads exfiltrated breach samples online (Toulas, 2023, para. 9). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">February 13, 2023: HACLA completes their investigation <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">March 11, 2023: Breach notice is posted on HACLA&#8217;s website <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What occurred?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lockbit breached HACLA in January 2022, maintaining nearly a year-long persistence in their environment before deploying ransomware. HACLA discovered Lockbit after their systems were encrypted and ransomware was deployed.
